About me
Welcome! And thank you for stopping by to visit my website.
A little about me.
Having a keen interest in portraits and the beauty of it, I started paying attention to all those details when I first began sketching portraits in my young days. I remember spending hours and hours in my room to draw one picture and have it ready for them to hang on the wall.
Whether it’s an art or photography, for me it has always been all about those tiny little details and the emotion in the eyes.
After pausing my passion and the creative side of it for a little while, I decided to start it all over again; but this time using my camera instead of my 2HB graphite pencil that I ever used back then.
Just like many of us, the first camera I bought was my small little Sony Cyber-shot T100, which I always used on an Auto Mode and learned nothing for what it takes to create a beautiful portrait in a digital world.
Quickly moving into DSLR, I started learning and understanding all about the lighting, angles, composition, etc, etc, etc.. for what it takes to create a beautiful portrait.
The proudest moment in my photography journey was to see my name and my work for the first time on “The Advertiser” newspaper when my wedding couple’s story was published. This was something that I had not imagined.
My philosophy is simple; I like using soft light, natural tones, and simple textures to capture timeless images on your special occasions that will hold enduring value in years to come.
As we hike through these stages of life, we lose ourselves in the daily chaos, stories are lost or maybe forgotten, individuals are sometimes lost, and valuable moments fade in front of our eyes. Images are a concrete and enduring reminder of how ideal that minute of the moment was in time.
And at the end, my secret to my success;
My wife Reema; who always believed in me and supported me. Without her, my venture into especially the newborn genre wouldn’t be where it is now. Her Profession as a former Midwifery Nurse has helped me tremendously. Having attended one day or two-day newborn workshop with a mentor would not be anything like having a midwifery wife with you every single day and every single session.
